  • You spend $150 for two people? What on earth are you buying? I spend under $100-120 for four people and that's including the fact that I have to buy two versions of some products (ex. whole milk yogurt for the little ones and fat free for the adults).

  • Alex, your comment presumes that the average consumer has a basic understanding of nutrition which does not strike me as being the case. They know they’re supposed to eat fruits and vegetables and that’s about it.

  • I save a ton of money by rarely buying meat. My husband might not adore his mostly vegetarian dinners but most produce is far less expensive per pound than meat. Heck, quinoa is only a couple dollars per pound when you buy it from the bulk bins. Why wouldn't you buy it instead?
